BOGGART: not living up to her parents' expectations // not making enough friends // being left out
Personality
Anastasia (or Ana) is extremely independent, a bit impatient, and a bit of a hothead. Her father blames that last part on her Weasley side. With the friends she does have, she's fiercely loyal and can be a bit dramatic sometimes. Being the youngest of 3 and being born when her parents were well set into their lives, Ana hasn't really wanted for anything, especially coming from the Malfoy family name. She's never known the struggle of the middle class or the magical races and their plights. Going to school should show her part of the real world.
History
Father: Scorpio Malfoy - 57
Mother: Rose Malfoy (nee Weasley) - 56
Siblings:
-Oldest Sister 33 (Auror)
-Middle Brother 22 (Non-Binary // Reporter for Daily Prophet // Freelancer for Quibbler)
-Anastasia Malfoy 11
The romance that continued past the walls of Hogwarts and into the modern world had blossomed with headstrong Rose and Scorpio settling down at last (if you could call it that!). They had always been a whirlwind of passion between the two of them. Rose was editor in chief for the Daily Prophet and Scorpio was attempting to position himself for the position of Head Auror after Harry had stepped down. At this point, Scorpio had been Head Auror for a few years and his oldest child had followed in his footsteps at the age of 24 by joining him at the department. Some had seen it as a whisper of nepotism, but Scorpio was determined to be hard on his daughter to prove she was earning her spot on the staff.
It was that year that they found out Rose was pregnant at 45 with their youngest (and final) child. With the modern healers' techniques, she had made it through without too much incident and they were blessed with Anastasia. The two oldest children were partially excited, partially exasperated knowing their parents were still doing the do (no kid wants to hear about those exploits, no matter how old they are). As Anastasia grew up, her magical ability was obvious, her charm and friendliness were abounding, and she seemed like the perfect child. Rose and Scorpio didn't have to worry too much about their youngest, but that was most likely because Rose was able to stay home with her and work from the comfort of their own home when she was out of school. Not having older siblings at home and not having hovering parents created an independent (albeit slightly shy) individual, who was discovering who she was at the age of 11.
When they got her owl from Hogwarts, her parents were thrilled. It was around this time that Grandpa had told her stories of his time at Hogwarts, reliving the old days and his path back to the light and his family (without coercion and manipulation). Draco had instilled a sense of wonder in Anastasia's mind, making her overjoyed and more excited than she thought possible at the start of her schooling. She couldn't wait to start term on September 1st.
